Alphabet Partners advised Eco Kart GmbH and Eco Kart Adventure GmbH on the sale of a majority stake to Ufenau Capital Partners

Alphabet Partners advised Eco Kart GmbH and Eco Kart Adventure GmbH, as well as their shareholders, on the majority sale to Ufenau Capital Partners. With the combined acquisition of both companies, Ufenau lays the foundation for building a new European platform in the premium leisure and karting segment. The management team remains on board and will drive the further development of the group together with Ufenau.

The two companies bring together two complementary experience concepts under one roof: Eco Kart GmbH is among the most modern and innovative providers of indoor karting in Europe. At its site in Frankfurt am Main, the company operates a fully emission-free e-kart track that clearly sets itself apart from the competition with its unique multi-level design across three floors. Eco Kart Adventure GmbH complements the offering with a premium bowling and entertainment concept that combines modern leisure with a high-quality experience and dining offering. Together, the two companies have created places where motorsport, leisure, family, and community come together seamlessly.

Ufenau Capital Partners is a private equity firm focused on the European mid-market, headquartered in Pfäffikon (Schwyz). With a distinctive Buy-&-Build strategy, Ufenau invests in profitable, high-growth companies in the DACH region, the Benelux countries, Spain, the United Kingdom, and Poland. Through its investment in Eco Kart and Eco Kart Adventure, Ufenau aims to build a new European platform in the premium leisure and karting segment under its umbrella.
